Dream DojoProject aim
To create a Japanese styled martial arts centre, that acts as the hub to London based Shodokan Aikido Clubs in the borough of Camden and by extension Greater London, UK and Europe.

We already pride ourselves on providing an authentic martial arts development programme for children beginning at three Camden based Primary Schools, teaching children key skills that that will carry with them and use in every aspect of their lives.
We will continue this model, as part of our complete package supplying tuition.
After a hard day of work or one of our martial arts classes, it’s important to relax your body and mind.
Our changing areas will bring an additional comfort and convenience to members, encouraging beginners to add training to their daily routine.
Once inside we will offer a relaxing space for family and friends to sit, socialise and watch the class in progress without interrupting the lesson. .

We understand that everyone’s needs and ambitions are different, and we make sure our students reach the goals and results they want to achieve.

In this age of ‘sport for all’ ; our mission is to facilitate life-long learning opportunities for the local community; specifically through Shodokan Aikido. Keeping mind and body healthy through the practice of ‘kata’ and ‘randori’. Tailoring these two elements to the age and physical ability of all participants.

Central London Shodokan started in October 2003 and has since grown from strength to strength. Founded by Marlon Hoating at the Central YMCA, The group has evolved from its humble beginnings to almost 100 members and being Camden Primary Schools only After-school Aikido tuition provider.
All of our instructors are fully certified and Japan trained.
